BR1M 2015 Application Now Open 1 - 31 Dec 2014 - How To Apply?

 

Inland Revenue Board offices nationwide were packed with Malaysians eager to apply for the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) as the distribution of forms for the cash aid started.

IRB public relations officer Masrun Maslin said IRB offices nationwide opened special counters to cater to BR1M applicants.

“It’s normal for our offices to be this crowded on the first day of the month and we were ready to cater to them. Still, we encourage BR1M applicants to use the online application system,” he said.



Applications for BR1M will remain open until Dec 31 and forms can be returned to IRB branches, revenue service centres, UTCs or district offices.

It highly recommended that applicants log on to the BR1M Inland Revenue Board official portal at https//: ebr1m.hasil.gov.my for a more convenient application process.

BR1M will be paid three times a year for household recipients, and only once for individual recipients. For individuals with an income below RM2000, RM350 will be paid starting Jan 28, 2015.

For households with a monthly income of RM3,000 and below, the first payment of RM300 will be on Jan 28, RM300 on May 28 and RM350 on Sept 28.

For households with a monthly income of RM3,001 to RM4,000, the first payment will be RM200 on Jan 28, RM200 on May 28 and RM350 on Sept 28.
